Release notes for September and October 2022

Here are the improvements for the past couple months:

• VOGSY has released another awesome integration: You can now collaborate with your customers via Trello!
• We have also refreshed the layout and design of the documentation and switched our search platform to Google, which provides full-page search results.
• You can now close deliverables!
• Timesheets and notes are more closely integrated.
• We have made several updates to Planning.
• We have also updated two reports.

Release notes for May through August

Here are the improvements for the past couple months:

• VOGSY is now fully integrated with Microsoft Office 365. (May 2022)
• We have made deleting VOGSY objects such as projects and deliverables easier. (May 2022)
• You can now choose an alternate purchase invoice approver for cases in which the original approver is not available.  (June 2022)
• You now have the ability, when adding a customer to VOGSY, to indicate that person’s job title. (June 2022)
• You now have the ability to add additional phone number or email address fields when creating a person in VOGSY. (July 2022)
• We added a new column to the Project invoices report. (July 2022)
• You can now specify a sales rate for a specific resource, instead of using the activity’s default sales rate. (August 2022)

Release notes for April 2022

 

Here are the improvements for April:

• The Forward-looking invoicing Report now displays the value of the planned hours for future months for Time & Materials deliverables.
• We created a new report called Planned vs. Actuals that displays the hours planned and submitted per week, per employee, and per activity, as well as the difference between the planned hours and actual hours.
• Your Home feed no longer displays a notification every time a project co-member submits a time entry for manager approval.
• You now have new folder permissions that allow you to restrict access to the folders that VOGSY creates on your shared drive.

We have added a few improvements for March:

• A new invoicing option that allows you to generate invoices at the project level
• You can now assign skills to an employee on their settings page that VOGSY will use to make resource recommendations.
